"(New York) – Available evidence strongly suggests that Syrian government forces were responsible for chemical weapons attacks on two Damascus suburbs on August 21, 2013. These attacks, which killed hundreds of civilians including many children, appeared to use a weapons-grade nerve agent, most likely Sarin.
The 22-page report, “Attacks on Ghouta: Analysis of Alleged Use of Chemical Weapons in Syria,”documents two alleged chemical weapons attacks on the opposition-controlled suburbs of Eastern and Western Ghouta, located 16 kilometers apart, in the early hours of August 21. Human Rights Watch analyzed witness accounts of the rocket attacks, information on the likely source of the attacks, the physical remnants of the weapon systems used, and the medical symptoms exhibited by the victims as documented by medical staff.
“Rocket debris and symptoms of the victims from the August 21 attacks on Ghouta provide telltale evidence about the weapon systems used,” said Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director at Human Rights Watch and author of the report. “This evidence strongly suggests that Syrian government troops launched rockets carrying chemical warheads into the Damascus suburbs that terrible morning.”
The evidence concerning the type of rockets and launchers used in these attacks strongly suggests that these are weapon systems known and documented to be only in the possession of, and used by, Syrian government armed forces, Human Rights Watch said...."

Human rights watch . . now there's a neutral observer if ever I saw one . . NOT!! Yet another group, initially set up for all the right reasons but now co-opted to the work of western empire via the intelligence services.
How anyone can say that this is the Syrian govt using these chemical weapons on it's own people is beyond me.
For one, the videos of the aftermath look dodgy and have been described as such by leading experts in Chemical weapons.
We have the family members of some of the handful of rebels killed by said weapons in a tunnel complex "because the saudi's hadn't given them proper handling instructions"
We have the Turkish security services arresting rebels near the boarder with sarin gas.
We have the incidents in and around Aleppo earlier in the year, which by the way had the FUKUS/NATO crew screaming "Assad" only to have the UN in the form of Carla Del Ponte going "most probably the rebels did it"
Numerous you tube videos showing the rebels BOASTING of having used them, and threatening to use them in the future. And others showing them preparing to launch rockets with large blue canisters attached . . . probably sweeties for the kids though eh - not chem weaps !
The recently released french journalist saying they overheard the rebels talking about how Assad didn't do it.
THE German Secret Services briefing politicians,saying phone intercepts of army chiefs asking to be able to respond to chemical attacks by the rebels in kind BEING REBUFFED BY PRESIDENT ASSAD !!
I could go on & on but the crowning glory is COMMON SENSE. On the day the UN inspecies arrive in Damascus, at the invitation of the Syrian Govt to investigate previous REBEL CHEMICAL ATTACKS, SAID govt decides to launch a gas attack, not against the hired foreign mercenaries (who up until recently, have been butchering their way through the Shite & Christian populations) that his army is now starting to seriously degrade conventionly, but launches it against the civilian population,amongst which, according to NATO, he has a 70% + approval rating !!
Against this we have "lots of "WE KNOW&- Indisputable, etc., etc. from the fools in DC thinking they can use the same crap used in Iraq, Libya, and we'll believe it. But NO EVIDENCE. The israeLIES saying they overhead the regime talking about the attack . . . was this BEFORE or AFTER it happened. So why have the English not backed it up Troodos on Cyprus hears EVERYthing out there, but nothing.
The israeLIES launching 2 cruise missiles & the US shooting them down. An unannounced missile test . . . Yeah right !! an attempt, as their plan to balkanise Syria starts to collapse, to suck Syria into a defensive responce which would be labeled by the wests media as an attack on the US Navy.
Whats the next FALSE FLAG . . a gas attack against it's own citizens by the israeLIES, to be blamed on Assad.
